The second pant suit fashioned by Alexandra, this was a fun one to design as I wanted a tropical print but more practical pants so we chose a stretch denim and she added appliques from the matching fabric of the top! Genius!

I looked for months at the Sacramento Antique Faire before finding the perfect vintage bat. This was the outfit to finally photograph with the prop. Vintage 1940s fabric of native American warriors, the young girl in me who was fascinated with Native American culture had an immediate affinity upon setting eyes to the fibers. This fabric would certainly gain a place in my wardrobe order. Alexandra informed me the material would not make good pants fabric, as it is very thin so we decided upon shorts and the design is ’40s perfection! Fully lined, she did such a rockin’ job! Sometimes when ordering clothes online we strike out, and at others we hit a home run. My experience with Alexandra was certainly a home run!
I planned to wear these in Las Vegas for Viva last Spring, but my daughter and I caught an early flight home due to a horrible stomach bug. I get to enjoy my clothes another occasion! This was fabulous in my shoot with Bad Bones Photography.

Thrilled with my first set fashioned by Alexandra, I requested that we make more so she sent images of material options. This is a vintage fabric which captured my heart, and is brilliantly durable. I love the colors and pattern and the way she made this. It matches my shoes found at a clothing swap! Perfect summer ensemble with my favored vintage weaved basket featuring a lucite lid and handle!

I saw this fabric and fell in love with it! Plus the style of the suit…drooling! An image of a set similar to this is what began a trilogy of orders from the lovely hand-made in USA Alexandra of California! Shoes found at my local thrift, and the purse at the Sacramento Antique Faire.
F— boxes! I’ve been insanely obsessing over this conundrum to examine to myself and justify what I enjoy. Label this, categorize that. I’m done. I enjoy clothes and styling. As people in the Western world we use our clothing and styles to communicate personality. My goal is to create images which highlight that. Simple. There’s no deeper motivation. I’m just a girl having fun. Fuck that box and its emotional/creative constipations.
